Today, Friday, October 30, 2026, Iraq’s Oil Ministry said in a statement that, based on directives from the First Deputy Director General, it had decided to distribute kerosene to families in the provinces of Baghdad, Middle Euphrates, the South, Diyala and Wasit exclusively through electronic cards and electronic payments.
The statement said the decision is in line with higher directives to digitize transactions. Each family will receive 100 liters of kerosene over a period of two months, starting on November 1, 2026.
