Today, Monday, November 2, 2026, the Traffic Cameras and Violations Division of the Sulaymaniyah Provincial Traffic Directorate notified all drivers of the date when the speed-monitoring cameras will become operational.
The notice said that on Sunday, November 8, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., speed-monitoring cameras using a "point-to-point" system on the road between (Darbandikhan–Kalar) will begin operating in both directions and record speeding violations within that stretch.
