Today, Sunday, November 8, 2026, the Kurdistan Region Government’s Department of Media and Information announced that, in order to continue discussions on the Kurdistan Region’s financial entitlements in the draft budget law for 2027, a senior negotiating delegation from the Kurdistan Region Government arrived in the capital, Baghdad.
The statement said the delegation is scheduled to meet with relevant federal government officials to present the Region’s observations on the provisions of the draft law, with the aim of safeguarding the constitutional rights of the people of Kurdistan and securing the full financial entitlements of public-sector employees.
