On Sunday, November 8, 2026, during a meeting with the governor, members of the provincial council and Anbar’s representatives in parliament, Zeidi said: "The current phase is one of reconstruction and development. Therefore, we will not allow any weapons to disrupt security or threaten citizens."
The Iraqi prime minister said the government plans to raise oil production to 10 million barrels per day by 2030, as a step toward strengthening the national economy and accelerating the country’s growth.
Regarding the province’s problems, Zeidi pledged to:
Follow up on salary cases involving martyrs and the wounded, as well as compensation for homeowners whose properties were damaged by terrorism and for displaced people.
Ensure that all financial entitlements owed to farmers and orchard owners are paid.
Order the invitation of specialized international companies to invest in the phosphate and glass sectors, with the aim of benefiting from national resources.
The prime minister also stressed the government’s ongoing efforts to "combat corruption," which he described as the main cause of delays in development across Iraq.
