Abbas Araqchi, Iran’s foreign minister, announced that his country remains proud in the face of all pressures and stressed that Tehran must be committed to its pact with the Defense Front and will not forget the crimes of the United States and Israel against the country.
Today, Sunday, 9 Ab, Abbas Araqchi, Iran’s foreign minister, stated: This year’s Muharram and Ashura in Iran have a different color and scent, because, as he says, our homeland has become the target of the brutal aggressions of America and Israel and has offered martyrs for the sake of freedom and dignity.
The foreign minister of Iran declared that in history the worth of nations is not measured by the pursuit of comfort, but by their readiness to sacrifice for freedom, justice, and human dignity. He added: In the Seyyid al-Shuhada School we learned that dying with glory is far more honorable than living in humiliation, because compromise and renouncing independence erase social identity and national will.
Araqchi also emphasized that the Islamic Republic of Iran, on the basis of this ideological and strategic belief, stands firm against all pressures. He indicated that they are steadfast in their pledge with the Supreme Leader and said: We do not forget the crimes of the enemy and we will not cover up those bloods that were unjustly shed.
In concluding his remarks, Iran’s foreign minister reiterated that his country’s intellectual legacy is that dying with glory is nobler than living under subjugation, and he described this as the timeless wisdom of defense.
