Major General Saad Maan, head of Iraq’s Security Media Cell, disclosed in an urgent clarification the cause of today’s explosion sound in Baghdad and stated that it was caused by intercepting a drone.
Saad Maan stated: The sound heard a short while ago in the capital, Baghdad, resulted from intercepting and targeting an unidentified drone in the vicinity of the Green Zone.
At the same time, the head of the Security Media Cell stressed that the security agencies and relevant parties had immediately begun an intensive investigation to identify the source of the drone and the details of the incident.
