Today, Wednesday 28 of October 2026, the Reuters news agency reported: Qatari mediators have presented Iran with a draft of a new agreement, and Tehran is currently reviewing its contents. At the same time, Iran is expected to provide its official response to the draft by the end of this week.
The report said that, if approved, the timetable for implementing the agreement could begin at the start of next week, and several states would also participate as guarantors of the agreement’s implementation.
