The President of the Kurdistan Region congratulated all three of Iraq’s deputy prime ministers on winning parliament’s vote of confidence and wished them success in carrying out their duties.
On Friday, 16 October 2026, Nechirvan Barzani, President of the Kurdistan Region, congratulated Mohsen Mandalawi, Laith al-Khazali and Mohammed al-Jubouri in three separate telephone calls on receiving the confidence of Iraq’s Council of Representatives and beginning their work as Iraq’s deputy prime ministers.
The President of the Kurdistan Region wished them success in carrying out their duties and, at the same time, congratulated the Council of Ministers and government members on the selection of the ministers and the completion of the formation of Prime Minister Ali al-Zaydi’s Council of Ministers, wishing them success in serving the country and its citizens.
