Majed Al Ansari, spokesperson for Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, told reporters that both the U.S. and Iranian sides remain committed to the negotiating process. “As mediators, we are rapidly exchanging their proposals and messages on an hour-by-hour basis,” he said.
The Qatari foreign ministry spokesperson also said that U.S. and Iranian officials are currently carefully reviewing and discussing the ideas and initiatives put forward by Doha to reduce tensions and bring the crisis to an end.
