The new achievement was showcased during the World Media Summit, being held from November 5 to 9, 2026, in Beijing, the capital of China. The robot was developed jointly by Xinhua and Chinese company UBTECH, which specializes in producing humanoid robots.
The robot relies on artificial intelligence technology and a large-scale data model, with the aim of transferring smart applications from virtual environments to physical systems capable of interacting directly with humans.
