The Erbil Traffic Directorate, as the rainy season begins, issues a four-point warning to drivers.
Erbil Traffic announces: Due to the onset of rainfall in the autumn season, and to protect the safety of drivers and road users, we ask drivers to follow these guidelines.
1- Due to rainfall at the beginning of autumn, roads become slippery, and drivers must not drive fast during rainfall.
2- Ensure that the windshield wipers and the vehicle’s braking system are functioning properly.
3- Maintain a safe distance between your vehicle and the vehicle in front of you.
4- Do not drive quickly through accumulated water on the roads, because it can cause loss of control and the vehicle to skid.
