The Erbil Oil and Minerals Directorate warned all drivers that, from 8 of this month, receiving the 750-dinar petrol allocation will be conditional on the matching of the three-part name between the national identity card and the electronic fuel card.
Today, Monday, 5 of Tishrin al-Awwal 2026, the Erbil Oil and Minerals Directorate stated in a notice that all drivers must, when receiving the 750-dinar petrol allocation, bring only their national identity card and electronic fuel card to fuel stations.
The notice emphasized that the three-part name must match on both cards, meaning it must be identical, while also warning that if the three-part names on the two cards do not match, the driver will be denied the petrol allocation.
The Erbil Oil and Minerals Directorate also indicated that this decision will be implemented from (8 of Tishrin al-Awwal 2026).
