In an election speech in the state of Florida, the US president raised the possibility of carrying out another military operation as a new phase of “Epic Fury” against Iran, while also indicating that on their way back, they would work on the Cuba issue as well.
During a speech at an election rally in the state of Florida, US President Donald Trump said regarding the war in the Middle East: “The United States may carry out another military operation against Iran.” He also referred to the possibility of launching a new and limited phase of “Epic Fury” operations or reaching an agreement with Iran.
Without providing further details, the US president said: “The United States will also take a look at the Cuba issue and take care of it on its way back from Iran.”
Donald Trump had previously also said that the United States could end this war very quickly, but had raised the question of whether Washington should seek to bring it to a swift end or allow the war to gradually and quietly subside.
It is worth noting that the US president, who has consistently put forward different objectives and timelines for this conflict, recently said during his election campaign that the war with Iran would end soon “one way or another.”
