French Prime Minister Sébastien Lecornu said that, during Saturday’s protests in various French cities, security forces arrested 1,200 people, while 150 police personnel were injured in clashes.
While reviewing police forces in central Paris, the French prime minister commented on the intensity of the confrontations and the injuries sustained by security forces, saying: "It is almost a miracle that the casualty figures were not higher."
