The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research has decided that parallel and evening study fees at public universities will be collected in five installments, following a 45% reduction in the total tuition fees.
Today, Monday, October 19, 2026, Dr. Aram Mohammed Qadir, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research in the Kurdistan Regional Government, issued a new decision in the interests of students stipulating that tuition fees for parallel and evening study programs for students enrolled at public universities in the Kurdistan Region will be collected in five installments.
The statement said that the decision was made in the public interest and in consideration of the financial circumstances of students’ families, so that full assistance could be provided in paying their education costs.
The Ministry of Higher Education also indicated that, following a 45% reduction in tuition fees, the collection of parallel and evening study fees will be implemented in five installments.
