As a result of a collision between two trucks in the Kelek subdistrict of Bardarash district, a driver from Northern Kurdistan burned to death inside his vehicle, while the other driver was seriously injured.
Sangar Goran, Kurdistan TV’s correspondent in Bardarash, reported that late last night, a serious traffic accident occurred between two trucks in the Kelek subdistrict of Bardarash district. As a result of the collision, one of the trucks caught fire, causing its driver to burn to death inside the vehicle, while the driver of the other truck was seriously injured.
The Kurdistan TV correspondent noted that the driver whose vehicle burned was from Northern Kurdistan, and that his body was removed from the vehicle by staff from the Kelek Civil Defense Center and the Kelek police station.
According to the information, because of the extent and severity of the burns, the driver’s face could not be identified. So far, it is only known that the truck was carrying a Turkish license plate.
