The General Directorate of Meteorology and Seismology of the Kurdistan Regional Government has forecast the weather conditions for the 48 upcoming hours and announced that rainfall will continue.
Today, Wednesday, 7 of October, the Region's Meteorology and Seismology Directorate announced: The sky will generally be completely cloudy. Drizzle and moderate rain will continue intermittently in most areas, especially within the boundaries of Sulaymaniyah Governorate, Halabja and parts of the Garmian Administration. There is also a possibility of showers in the high mountainous areas. Compared with yesterday's recorded temperatures, the temperature will fall by 2 to 3 degrees Celsius.
For tomorrow, Thursday, 8 of October, according to meteorological forecasts, the effect of the low-pressure system will remain over the region until dawn and then end; the sky will change to partly cloudy. Compared with today, the temperature will rise by approximately 3 to 4 degrees Celsius.
