Nechirvan Barzani, president of the Kurdistan Region, strongly condemned the “terrorist” attack on a church in Karak Governorate in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, in which several people were killed and wounded.
In a message posted on the social media platform X, the president of the Kurdistan Region expressed his solidarity with the people and leadership of Jordan and stressed that terrorism in all its forms, particularly attacks on holy sites and civilians, is in no way acceptable.
Nechirvan Barzani expressed his condolences and sympathy to the victims’ families and wished the wounded a speedy recovery; he also expressed hope that Jordan and its people would always enjoy peace and stability.
