The president of the Kurdistan Regional Government met with the new head of the European Union Liaison Office in Erbil. The two sides stressed the need to strengthen relations.
Today, Tuesday, 20 October, Masrour Barzani, president of the Kurdistan Regional Government, welcomed “Stefan Vent” (Stefan Vent), the new head of the European Union Liaison Office in Erbil.
The president congratulated him on assuming office, wished him success in carrying out his duties, and expressed the Kurdistan Regional Government’s support for him.
The head of the European Union Liaison Office in Erbil also stressed the importance of consolidating relations between the Kurdistan Region and the European Union.
Reforms by the Kurdistan Regional Government in various sectors, as well as the overall situation in Iraq and the region, were another topic of discussion.
