During the meeting, the two sides stressed the importance of strengthening relations between the Kurdistan Region and Romania in various fields.
The importance of reactivating the Kurdistan Parliament as the first step toward forming the new cabinet of the Kurdistan Regional Government, the need to respect the Kurdistan Region’s fundamental rights and financial demands, as well as the latest developments and changes in the general situation of the Kurdistan Region, Iraq and the region, were among the other topics discussed at the meeting.
