Masrour Barzani inaugurated the Sheikhān–Bā‘adrī dual carriageway and said: It is gratifying to see our Kurdistan becoming more developed day by day.
This Monday afternoon, 26 October, Masrour Barzani, prime minister of the Kurdistan Region, inaugurated the Sheikhān–Bā‘adrī dual carriageway.
In remarks he made at the inauguration ceremony for the road, he said: “We are here today to inaugurate this dual carriageway between the center of Sheikhān and Bā‘adrī Street toward Duhok, which will serve all citizens; I hope everyone benefits from it.”
Masrour Barzani noted: “I commend the implementing company, North Light, for completing this project ahead of schedule and putting it at the service of our people.”
At the same time, he expressed hope that all the people of the area would observe traffic regulations and take their own safety and that of other citizens into consideration: “God willing, may you see the benefits of this project. I know that some other works have also been carried out alongside this project, and that some rural roads have also been constructed; it is the government’s duty to enable us to serve all the citizens of Kurdistan more and without discrimination. But it is gratifying when we see our Kurdistan becoming more developed day by day and projects like this being implemented.”
At the end, Masrour Barzani said: “I commend all the engineers, workers and everyone who has worked on this project; you made great efforts, and thank you for your hard work. God willing, may God reward everyone, and may everyone see the benefits of this project. May you always be successful, and may our Kurdistan become more developed day by day.”
