Today, Monday, 12 October 2026, in Pirmam, President Masoud Barzani received Mohammed Shia’ al-Sudani, former prime minister of Iraq’s federal government and chairman of the Construction and Development Coalition.
During the meeting, Iraq’s and the region’s political situation was discussed, and the need to complete the federal government’s ministerial structure and support it was emphasized.
The issue of voting on the general budget, approving the necessary laws, and resolving the problems between Baghdad and Erbil was also addressed.
