On Wednesday, 21 October 2026, President Masoud Barzani opened the eighteenth International Book Fair in the city of Erbil.
The fair, organized by the Mada Media and Cultural Institution, began with the participation of more than 400 printing and publishing institutions and the presence of President Masoud Barzani and a considerable number of guests, political, cultural and academic figures, and journalists, under the slogan “I am Kurdish,” and will continue for 10 days.
