Nechirvan Barzani, President of the Kurdistan Region, wished the Pope of the Vatican a speedy recovery and full health in a message.
In his message on the social media platform X, the President of the Kurdistan Region stated: “I fondly recall my visit to His Holiness the Pope in May this year,” and following the Pope’s surgery, Nechirvan Barzani wished him a speedy and full recovery.
He also stressed that the Pope’s commitment to the values of peace, human dignity and dialogue among nations is a source of deep respect and appreciation for everyone. He expressed hope that the Pope would continue, in full health and with renewed strength, his sacred and important mission of promoting peace, kindness and understanding throughout the world.
