On Wednesday, 21 October 2026, President Masoud Barzani opened the eighteenth International Book Fair in Erbil.
The fair, organized by the Mada Organization for Media and Culture, began its activities under the title “I Am Kurdistan,” with the participation of more than 400 printing and publishing institutions and the attendance of President Masoud Barzani, along with a considerable number of political, cultural and academic figures, guests and journalists, and will continue for 10 days.
