Dr. Vala Farid, head of the Kurdistan Democratic Party bloc in the Kurdistan Parliament, has sent a message to the acting speaker of parliament regarding the resumption of parliamentary activities and the KDP bloc’s readiness. In it, she says: Resuming the first parliamentary session is your responsibility, and you must fulfill that responsibility unconditionally and without delay; there is no excuse for any further postponement of the parliament’s meeting. She also stresses: We, as the KDP bloc, are ready to attend the session and reactivate parliament.
Today, Saturday 24 of October, Dr. Vala Farid stated: "Resuming the first parliamentary session and completing the procedures is your responsibility, and you must fulfill that responsibility unconditionally and without delay."
The head of the KDP bloc stressed that any side that is not ready to attend the sessions will itself be held responsible before history and the blood of the martyrs. She also indicated that no excuse for any further postponement of the meetings is acceptable.
At the end of her message, Dr. Vala Farid reaffirmed the KDP bloc’s full readiness to participate in the sessions and reactivate parliament, saying: "Please convene the members of parliament to complete the first session; we, as the KDP bloc, are ready."
