The Head of the Kurdistan Regional Government met with the Yazidi Mir. Masrour Barzani to the Yazidi Mir: We are committed to supporting your rights and demands.
This Monday evening, 26 of October, Masrour Barzani, Head of the Kurdistan Regional Government, visited Mir Hazim Mir Tahsin Beg, the Mir of the Yazidis, in the Shekhan district.
At the meeting, attended by Sheikh Ali Ilyas Baba Sheikh of the Yazidis, along with a number of Yazidi religious figures and personalities, the situation of the Yazidis was discussed, and the Head of Government reaffirmed the Kurdistan Regional Government’s commitment to supporting the rights and demands of the Yazidis.
The Yazidi Mir expressed his and the Yazidis’ thanks and appreciation for the Head of Government’s continued support.
