A meteorologist said rainfall this year in the Kurdistan Region, particularly in mountainous areas, will be good and encouraging.
Heval Sediq Galozi, a meteorologist, said: According to forecasts, rainfall in months 10, 11 and 12 in the Kurdistan Region will generally be good and encouraging.
He also said that rainfall in the cities of the Kurdistan Region during these three months will be above the average level, with the rate even higher in the mountainous areas of the north and northeast of the region.
The meteorologist noted that rainfall in the mountainous areas of Erbil, Sulaymaniyah, Duhok and Halabja, and in the administrations of Zakho, Raparin and Soran, will be greater compared with the plains.
