The Ministry of Electricity of the Kurdistan Regional Government announced that the electricity problem affecting some neighborhoods of Erbil will be resolved tonight.
Today, Thursday 22 of Tishrin al-Awwal, the Ministry of Electricity of the Kurdistan Regional Government announced: On the date 19 of the month 10, as a result of carrying out a series of construction and civil works, 12 high-voltage 132 electrical cables were damaged, causing the interruption of electricity supply to the Nusaran and Park substations in Erbil.
The Ministry of Electricity announced: As a result of this problem, approximately 72 thousand citizens have been affected by power outages in the neighborhoods of (Nusaran, Hakmawa, Tayrawa, part of Bakhtiyari, Salahaddin, Ari, the Gulan Towers, Quattro Project, Sky Tower, and Boulevard).
The Ministry of Electricity also stated: The ministry's repair teams and the Roonaki Project are working to resolve this problem as soon as possible, and it is expected that the restoration of electricity to these areas will begin tonight. In this regard, the Ministry of Electricity also thanks citizens for their patience and understanding.
