The ministries of electricity and natural resources announce that electricity generation in the Kurdistan Region will decrease for four days.
The ministries of electricity and natural resources announced this evening, Thursday, in a joint statement: Starting at 12 tonight, for four days, Dana Gas Company will begin the second phase of its maintenance.
They also announced that during these four days, gas exports will decrease from 520 million cubic feet to 260 million cubic feet, thereby reducing electricity by 1070 megawatts.
The joint statement also said: During these four days, both the Ministry of Electricity and the Ministry of Natural Resources will make every effort to ensure the least possible impact on electricity supply schedules.
It was also emphasized that this decrease during these four days will not affect the reduction in household liquefied gas.
