The American Wall Street Journal revealed that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is applying intense pressure on the United States to resume military attacks inside Iran, while the White House has reiterated that no attack will be carried out before the midterm elections.
The newspaper reported, citing a White House spokesperson, that the United States will not attack Iran before the midterm elections. At the same time, regional officials in the Middle East said they are viewing the risks of the conflict spreading with the utmost concern and vigilance, particularly amid the continued threats by U.S. President Donald Trump and Tehran’s insistence on rejecting Washington’s demands.
According to information from the Wall Street Journal, Netanyahu continues his efforts to persuade the United States to resume military attacks deep inside Iranian territory. Within that framework, Israel, based on its intelligence information, has submitted a list of several proposed targets for strikes and bombardment to Pete Hegseth, the U.S. secretary of defense.
