Late last night, the Garmian Traffic Directorate announced that on the main Kalar–Darbandikhan road near the village of Awakhair, a BMW traveling toward Kalar lost control and crashed into the roadside barrier.
The statement said that a citizen born in 1992 died instantly in the accident, while another citizen, born in 1991, sustained serious injuries. The injured person was transferred from the Martyr Mulla Ahmadi Kalar Hospital in the Bawanur subdistrict to the Martyr Hajar Emergency Hospital in Kalar.
Garmian Traffic also said that its teams immediately arrived at the scene and launched an investigation to determine the cause and circumstances of the accident.
