Today, Friday, November 6, 2026, the Erbil Municipality said in a statement that work on the project to build internal roads in the Qarabugh village area, in the first phase in Zone A, is progressing intensively and continuously.
The statement said that, with winter approaching and the start of the rainy season drawing near, Engineer Karzan Abdulhadi, mayor of Erbil, had instructed the project supervisors and implementation teams to intensify their efforts and speed up the work, with the aim of completing the project within its scheduled timeframe.
The Erbil Municipality noted that the project is being funded from the municipality’s revenues and is being implemented directly. Its budget is (551,845,000) five hundred fifty-one million eight hundred forty-five thousand dinars.
The statement concluded by emphasizing that the project aims to improve the area’s infrastructure and facilitate residents’ movement, while giving the internal roads in the Qarabugh land plots within the area an urban appearance.
