In his message, Safeen Dizayee offered his deepest condolences to the families of the victims, as well as to the government and people of Egypt, saying: "We strongly condemn the armed attack targeting Egypt’s border guards."
The head of the Kurdistan Regional Government’s Department of Foreign Relations expressed the Kurdistan Region’s full solidarity with Egypt and reaffirmed the region’s support for the country’s security and stability. He also rejected any attempt that could endanger Egypt’s safety and territorial integrity.
