Before their high-profile Champions League third-round clash against Paris Saint-Germain, Barcelona have encountered a new travel problem.
Due to dense fog in Paris, the private plane scheduled to take Barcelona’s squad to the French capital on Monday morning today was unable to take off at the appointed time. According to the Catalan newspaper "Sport," the delay has disrupted the preparations planned by coach Hansi Flick, as they had intended to arrive in Paris at noon and, after resting, carry out their training session in the evening.
At 5:45 in the evening, Hansi Flick and Pedri are scheduled to attend the pre-match press conference, but expectations are that the weather problem will be resolved and the delegation will reach Paris.
This is the second time in a short period that Barcelona have encountered travel difficulties because of the weather, after they faced problems on their return journey from Seville due to poor weather; this is being described as a "persistent curse" for the club.
